Notes From The Mindfield presents a new series of paintings by Andrew Lewis that explores the psychological and social effects on our current era— an era that is simultaneously affected by the wake of the pandemic and the rise of artificial intelligence. The series reflects the artist's unfolding observations and evolving ideas around the complexity of today's shifting mental and societal landscape.
Alongside the six-week exhibition, the program featured guided tours for students and the public, an artist talk, and a live public painting session with Andrew Lewis.
The painting event, created in collaboration with international techno DJ Apaull, culminated in two monumental eight-meter works, merging live art and electronic music into an immersive, large-scale experience.

The exhibit features a diverse series of contemporary portraits that began in France the summer of 2021. The new works will feature paintings, drawings and limited edition prints in rich, sumptuous colour palettes in minimalist compositions that distill subject matter down to powerful, impactful figurative based images.
